If a bee/wasp stings you in the eye can it be fatal?

It rarely happens, but yes it can be fatal..

I read an article about this, and it says there that the victim had suffered severe pain, blurred vision and epiphora. The sting was removed surgically..If a bee/wasp stings you in the eye can it be fatal?
The toxins in a bee sting could do damage from the swelling that occurs in your eye. It could be fatal to your eye. But it's hard to say. As a former medic it's not something I ever came across. But the eye is very vascular %26amp; the toxins can still affect the rest of the body if your are sensitive to it.If a bee/wasp stings you in the eye can it be fatal?
No more so than any other place on the body, but it sure would suck.
Only if you were allergic and did not seek help within minutes.
