Who were the Bee Gees.?

I know who they are but I need to know more about them. I want to know like how they affected the Diso Era or people during to 1970's.

I don't know much, but I'll tell you what I know. Three brothers, Andy, Barry, and Robin ( I think ), they basically were disco, when you think disco, you think the Beegees. They provided the soundtrack for the movie ';Saturday night fever'; which was all about disco dancing. Two of them are deceased now.Who were the Bee Gees.?
They are the disco guys that sing ';Stayin' Alive';. Some of their songs were featured in the movie ';Saturday Night Fever';.
