If it was a bee then there will be a little sac about the size of a pencil tip. Many times it gets brushed off when you swat the bee away. If not using the edge of a credit card, dull knife, or even long fingernail is necessary (just don't squeeze it!). Wasps and yellowjackets don't leave a stinger.Will the bee stinger come out on its own?
not usually, rub a dull knife against your skin. most people say to use tweezers but that actually could inject more venom in.
