The original car was a 1970's series camaro. Then he changed into a 2007 concept camaro the GM made special for the movie. They produced a concept car that was silver and then they made the yellow one for Transformers. They keep saying they will produce this new car....but I kept waiting for them to produce it for 2008 and it never came out. it is a 2009 chevy concept camaro, so it will be out by 2009. Bumblebee was originally supposed to be a yellow beatle, but Michael Bay couldn't get the rights, and he didn't like the idea of Bumblebee being a beatle.
