Extremely busy, buzzing around all over the place. What is the meaning of as busy as a bee ?
it means you're really busy, no free time, rushing from one thing to do to another. It's because bees are very busy animals, they have to collect pollen, make honey, care for the queen, take care of they're little ones, etc. So when you're really really busy, people just compare it to bees. What is the meaning of as busy as a bee ?
busy as a bee is a term that means that you work a lot, or have a lot to do. bee's are notorious for their workloads (and by bee i mean the insect). it has been said that they need to visit over a million flowers to make a lb of honey. thats an incredible amount of work. so if u're busy as a bee, then u have some serious work to get done.
Bees are continuously working in the hive - there is no such thing as a lazy bee. The only time a bee stops working is when it dies. If you're ';busy as a bee,'; it means you're always doing something.
bee's are generally busy creatures who never sleep and work as soon as they're born right up until they die. to compare it to a human, it means that someone does a lot of work and doesnt have much time.

hope it helped!
